Meet Our Leaders

Michael Roffelsen, MS | Chief Executive Officer

Mike was appointed Chief Executive Officer at Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital in April 2022.

Prior to joining Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital, Mike worked in South Florida as the Chief Executive Officer in another rehabilitation hospital.

Mike has over thirty-five years of experience with numerous healthcare organizations in a variety of leadership roles including marketing, business development and operations.

Mike graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Master of Science degree in Management.  He earned his Bachelor of Art degree in Communications from Concordia University Wisconsin.

Tonja Ramthun, RN, MBA | Chief Nursing Officer

Tonja joins Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital with 25 years of healthcare experience after having served many of those years in leadership positions within WI area hospitals.  Tonja has her BSN and Masters of Business Administration and is thrilled to be part of GBRH because she wants to play a role in getting patients in our communities back home!

Outside of work, you’ll probably find Tonja spending time with family, her grandchildren are her pride and joy!

Kim VandeYacht, PharmD, RPh | Director of Pharmacy

Kim brings to Green Bay  Rehabilitation Hospital 15 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist. Kim attended Purdue University graduating with a degree in Business Management before deciding to pursue a career in pharmacy where she then went to attend Creighton University’s School for Pharmacy. Kim has previously been a clinical pharmacist in a number of settings including home infusion, behavioral health, cancer & specialty pharmacy, and hospital acute care pharmacy.

When asked why she chose GBRH, Kim shared that she really liked the concept that the patient gets full-service care from intense physical rehab to medical management including dietary, nursing, speech, and in-patient pharmacy services.

In Kim’s free time she enjoys reading a good murder mystery and spending time with my family and friends traveling, boating, attending Packer games, and watching her kids in their extra-curricular activities.

Matt Luders, MBA | Director of Marketing & Business Development

Matt joins Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital after spending over 10 years in healthcare, both in business development and operational leadership roles.  Matt earned his business degree from the University of WI-Green Bay and his Masters of Business Administration from Upper Iowa University.  Matt chose to join GBRH because of the awesome opportunity to be part building a new hospital from the ground up and knowing it would provide such critical care and exceptional outcomes that would get patients back home living their best life.

When you don’t see Matt out and about building relationships, you might find him with his dogs up in Door County where he, is fiancé and kids enjoy time near the water.  And if not there, shopping for midcentury modern glass at one of the many wonderful vintage stores around the area.

Tricia Drake, RN | Director of Patient Outcomes

Tricia has worked in healthcare leadership for over  25 years having earned both her BSN and Masters in Education.  Previously Tricia has worked in Geriatrics, Rehab, Home Health and Hospice which all have prepared her for great success at GBRH.

Tricia chose Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital because she found the Mission and Guiding Principles to be very compelling and strongly aligned with her own. But even more, to be a part of a team that is unwavering and passionate about quality care in the communities we serve.

Outside of work, Tricia enjoys walking her 2 rescue dogs, gardening when the weather permits and spending quality time with friends and family.

Mark Cox, DPT | Director of Therapy

Mark joins us all the way from Austin, TX where he served in Rehabilitation leadership at an acute care hospital.  Mark attended Physical Therapy school at Emory University and did a neuro-rehab residency at Northern Arizona University.  Mark chose GBRH because he wanted to be part of a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving in a community of great need.  He is honored to be part of this special place and is blessed everyday to be surrounded by a therapy team who prioritizes quality and patient outcomes above anything else.

Outside of GBRH, Mark is most proud of his family, his amazing wife and 3 children who all love being outdoors, attending sporting events and exploring local spirits and eateries around town.

Heather Tillman, RN | Director of Quality

Heather brings to Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital, over 20 years of healthcare experience, many as a Registered Nurse.  Previously Heather has worked in leadership roles in infection prevention, staff development, ER, and post-acute care environments.

Heather is a staunch believer in acute rehab and the care that is provided in the inpatient rehab hospital setting.  Heather joined GBRH because she believes that it is not only important now but will only continue to grow because the purpose is to get patients back home. What Heather loves most about her role is the attention that she gets to give to policy & procedure development, after all, it is in large part what we do to ensure the best possible care is given to patients. In Heather’s free time, she enjoys camping, watching a good show and shopping.

Christine Gavin, BSB-HRM, MBA | Human Resources Manager

Christine comes to Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital with a great deal of HR leadership experience, having previously supported local manufacturing businesses.  Christine has a Bachelor of Science Degree in HR Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an HRM Certification.

Christine shared that she chose GBRH because she immediately felt it was an incredible opportunity to work with leadership to design and promote a culture that focuses on employee satisfaction while ensuring we uphold our gold standard of quality and passionate patient care.

Outside of work, you might find Christine camping, cooking, napping, listening to music, going on road trips, and spending time with her husband and fur child, Robert F. Kittycat.
